Norbert Löhlein succeeds Hans Joachim Nothelfer as chairman of the Supervisory Board of RC Deutschland GmbH
The Supervisory Board of RC Deutschland GmbH has a new chairman: Norbert Löhlein, until now deputy chairman, officially assumed this position in May following a unanimous vote.
The previous chairman, Hans Joachim Nothelfer, was elected President of the German Golf Association (DGV) at the general meeting of the association on 17 April, which meant he resigned from his position and relinquished his seat in the Supervisory Board of RC Deutschland GmbH. Nothelfer said: "I would like to concentrate fully on my tasks as president of the German Golf Association. I wish my successor every success and of course that we succeed in bringing the 2018 Ryder Cup to Germany."
From 2003 onwards, Löhlein was president of the largest regional association within the German Golf Association (DGV), the Bavarian Golf Association, which includes 183 clubs and more than 135,000 golfers.
